JM Contracting handles every layer of a building's exterior, from siding, soffit and fascia to the roof itself. What started on Calgary rooftops in 1999 grew into full exterior envelope work, so one accountable team handles the whole building instead of passing you between trades.
Roofing
Residential and commercial roofing, from asphalt shingles and metal to flat membrane systems, repairs through full replacements. It is where the company started, and it remains a major service line within our complete exterior work.
Exteriors
Siding, soffit, fascia, metal panels, cedar shakes and exterior painting, detailed and installed to match the roof above them by the same in-house crews.

We are based in Calgary and serve the surrounding communities, including Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere and Strathmore, plus select projects across Western Canada.
Yes. We take on residential, commercial and multi-family projects, from single-family homes to commercial systems like TPO, EPDM and SBS roofing.
Yes, and it is one of the things that sets us apart from most competitors who specialize in one or the other. Roofing is where the company started and remains a major service line, but what we do today is the complete exterior: the same in-house crews handle siding, soffit, fascia, metal panels, cedar shakes and exterior painting as well as roofing, so one team looks after the whole building envelope instead of you coordinating between separate roofing and siding contractors.
Our roofing and exterior work is handled in-house by our own Red Seal certified crews, not subcontractors hired for the week. Where a project includes a regulated specialist trade, such as the electrical side of a solar installation, that portion is coordinated with a qualified partner and we tell you who is doing what. That keeps one company accountable for the work from the first inspection to the finished job.
We are manufacturer-certified installers for brands including IKO, BP, Malarkey, Carlisle SynTec, SOPREMA, Elevate and Duro-Last. That certification is what lets us properly register the manufacturer warranty on the systems we install, rather than leaving that coverage undocumented.
Because we are manufacturer-certified installers, the warranty on the materials we install gets properly registered rather than left informal. And because the crew is in-house rather than subcontracted, the company that did the work is who you would talk to afterward if you ever had a question, not a subcontractor we would have to track down.
