Trust Is Earned, Not Claimed

Anyone can say they do good work. We can show it.

Exterior and roofing work is easy to promise and hard to verify from the ground. So instead of adjectives, here is the paperwork: national trade certification, documented safety, real insurance coverage, and manufacturer credentials that only go to installers who earn them. Calgary homeowners and building owners have trusted that combination since 1999.

The Credentials Behind the Name

Certified trade, backed by real coverage

Our crews hold Canada’s Red Seal certification, the national standard for skill and training in the trade. Behind that sits COR safety certification with a full-time safety coordinator, $10M liability coverage and BBB accreditation. Every one of those is a document you can ask to see.

What The Credentials Do For You

Why does certification actually matter to a homeowner?

Because the letters on a badge only count if they change the outcome on your home. Red Seal training, COR safety and manufacturer certification are not decoration. They decide whether your warranty holds, who carries the risk, and who answers the phone if something needs fixing.

Here is the plain-language version of what each one buys you.

Talk To Our Team
  1. Your warranty is registered rightManufacturer-certified installers can register the systems we install, so the coverage that comes with your Carlisle SynTec, SOPREMA, Duro-Last or Elevate system is documented and yours to hold, not left on the table.
  2. Safety is accounted for, not assumedCOR safety certification, a full-time safety coordinator and $10M liability coverage mean the work is done to a documented standard, and you are not the one carrying the risk if something goes wrong on site.
  3. One accountable team, start to finishBecause our exterior and roofing crews are in-house, there is one team responsible for the result. No finger-pointing, no chasing down whoever actually did the work.

Trust Questions

Why trust JM Contracting, answered

Because our roofing and exterior crews are in-house, you are not left tracking down whoever actually did the work if a problem comes up. The same company that quoted the job and performed it is who you call, and that company carries $10M in liability coverage and operates under COR safety certification. We are also BBB accredited, which gives you an independent channel if a concern is not resolved directly with us.

Yes. We carry $10M in liability coverage, and every site operates under COR safety certification with a full-time safety coordinator. That is the documented standard behind the work, not just a line on a page.

Our own in-house Red Seal certified crews. Roofing and exteriors on your project are handled by the same team from the first inspection to the finished job, which is why one company can stand behind the result. If a project includes a regulated specialist trade, that portion is coordinated with a qualified partner and we tell you who is doing what.

The written estimate comes from an on-site assessment, not a guess over the phone, so it is built around your actual exterior or roof rather than an average. We put it in writing so there is a fixed reference point for what was quoted. Exactly how a change would be handled if something changes once work is underway is worth asking directly for your project, since that is not something we have standardized into a general answer here.

We inspect the damage, document it thoroughly, and give you a clear written scope you can use in your claim. You can tell your insurer which contractor you would like to use, even if they suggest other names. Coverage and payment decisions are made by your insurer under the terms of your policy. You remain responsible for your deductible and for any work outside the approved scope, and we do not waive or absorb deductibles. Once your insurer approves the claim, we complete the repair or restoration work it covers.

Calgary weather is a real variable in roofing and exterior work. We do not install in rain or in conditions where materials cannot seal or cure properly, so a forecast can shift a schedule. We give you a realistic timeline going in and keep you updated if weather moves it, rather than rushing the work and risking a failed installation.

Yes, and you can check all of it yourself. JM is BBB accredited, our crews hold Inter Provincial Standard Red Seal certification, and we carry COR safety certification and $10M liability coverage. We are also listed and reviewed by Calgary homeowners on HomeStars and Google. Look us up on those platforms and read what homeowners actually wrote, instead of taking our word for a number on our own website.

Because we are manufacturer-certified installers, the systems we install can be properly registered under the manufacturer warranty, so that coverage is documented and yours to hold instead of left informal. Ask our team about the specific coverage that applies to your project type.
